Tribus Aerospace provides customers with highly specialized, close tolerance assembly work using highly skilled personnel.
Assembly error-proofing techniques are utilized throughout the assembly process to eliminate defects and "escapes."
Assembly Processes Include:Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical components
Hand and semi-automatic assembly (IAW customer torque requirements)
Helicoil insertion
Lee Plug and Shuttle Valve installation
Rosan Fitting installation with proof pressure and autofrettage testing
Solder certified with potting and Hipot testing
Specialized elastomer and adhesive processes
Etching, CNC Engraving, and Laser part marking
Kitting Processes:
Include: Our kitting capabilities include Serialization, Sub-Assemblies and Product Preservations.
Our approach to Kitting is based upon “Value Add.” We machined the primary component (e.g. housing, fitting) and then create the kit to include standard hardware, O-ring’s, electrical components, etc.. The kit components are fully traceable and linked to all certifications. Finally the kit is converted from multiple part numbers into a single “deliverable” part number that simplifies the customer ordering process.
Inventory Management:
Supplier Owned Inventory (SOI) and Kanban Services are available.
These services are contracted under Long Term Agreements (LTA) for high volume and or critical usage components.
We provide selected customers with effective and responsive inventory management.
We can supply components, sub-assemblies or complete assemblies on a JIT basis using signals from the customers’ ERP system or supplier portal system.
